Privacy Policy

This describes what data Traffiklist collects and why. If you have questions, email [email protected].

What we collect

  • Account info — your name, email, and avatar, provided by Google or GitHub when you sign in. We never see or store your password.
  • Content you submit — products, comments, and upvotes you create.
  • Click data — when someone clicks a tracked Traffiklist link to a product's site, we log the product, the source (e.g. newsletter, homepage), a hashed version of the visitor's IP address (not the raw address), and the browser's user-agent string. This powers the maker click-count dashboard.
  • Cookies — see our Cookie Policy.

How we use it

To run the leaderboard, show you your own click analytics, keep you signed in, and prevent abuse (like fake accounts or vote manipulation). We don't sell your personal data, and we don't use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Traffiklist runs on a small set of infrastructure providers who process data on our behalf: Supabase (authentication, database, file storage) and Vercel(hosting). We don't share your data with anyone else.

IP addresses

Click-tracking IP addresses are salted and hashed before they're ever written to the database — we don't retain raw IP addresses at all, and can't reverse the hash back to an IP.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated data, by emailing the address above.

Children

Traffiklist isn't intended for anyone under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy as the Service changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
