Temp Email

About Temp Email

Every maker knows the pattern. You launch, you submit to a dozen boards, you try every recommended tool — and your own inbox becomes the receipt for all of it. Trial reminders. Drip campaigns. "We miss you" emails from something you opened once. Temp Email is the address you hand over instead. Open tempamail.com and a disposable address is generated on the spot — no registration, no personal details. Confirmations and verification codes land in the temporary inbox on the same page. No ten-minute countdown either. Keep an address as long as a trial runs, run several at once, and delete each by hand when it's finished. Honest limitation: this is a temporary inbox, not a permanent mailbox — it is not for banking or anything you need to keep. Start with the obvious problem, because every maker reading a launch board has lived it. Launching means forms. You submit your product to boards like this one, you register for the analytics tool, the feedback widget, the changelog service. Every single one wants an email address, and the polite fiction is that they'll only mail you about your account. They won't. They'll mail you about everything, forever, and the address collecting all of it is the one you actually read every morning. Temp Email is the workaround, and it's almost stupidly simple. Go to tempamail.com and a disposable email address is generated for you instantly. There's no registration step, no password to invent, no personal details handed over before you can start. You paste that address into whichever form is asking, and the mail — the confirmation link, the activation email, the six-digit code — arrives in the temporary inbox on the same page. Your real address never enters the picture. The detail that matters most is the one that's missing: an expiry timer. A lot of throwaway inboxes self-destruct after ten minutes, which is a fine party trick and a terrible way to run a two-week trial. Temp Email doesn't do that. An address stays active for as long as you need it — a day, a launch week, the full length of a trial you're evaluating — and when you're genuinely done with it, you delete it manually. You can also hold several addresses at once and switch between them on the page. One for the board submissions, one for the trial accounts, one for the newsletter you only half trust. The everyday uses: signups, free trials, newsletters, loyalty programs, e-book and app downloads, and testing or verifying accounts. There's also a separate /edu page that generates a temporary student (.edu) address for student discounts and verification steps. Honest limitation: this is a temporary inbox, not a permanent mailbox — it is not for banking or anything you need to keep.
